Saw the Bond Rectangular Faux Concrete Firepit with hideaway tank in-store in PA for $199.97 with plenty left. Currently $500 online. Not sure of the quality. Previously purchased the round faux concrete firepit and the paint peeled within a year after always being covered. This is also noted in the reviews. The rectangle one seems to be first year available with minimal reviews
I've never tried to chase down a YMMV in-store Costco deal. Can someone advise: if I call the store and ask what their price is, will they tell me the sale price or just give me the $500 MSRP?

Personally, I think the looks are not that great... returned it.
The tank sits in a different enclosure so you can see the tubing. Want one where the tank is within the enclosure itself...
But the price seems like a deal....
I think they are trying to make this a selling point - but I agree - integrated is better. Unless you are on a low deck where maybe you can put the tank below and just have the pit above. but then again, you'd be pretty close to the railing. Unless you drilled a hole to drop the hose under the decking. And really, who wants to do that?
Soo yeah - probably not a great design choice for 90% of us.
