This is still in my backlog, but if it's anywhere near as fun as cat quest 1, it's a no brainer at this price.

I purchased for the heck of it and it's actually a decent game. My 7-year-old has a decent grasp and it's a lot of fun for parents too. It has a classic final fantasy type feel with modernized graphics and fun leveling system. The fighting style is similar to Chrono trigger.

Absolutely love this game. Both of them were just great fun. Not too difficult. Just fun. Highly recommend. I do wish they'd do a third.

Thanks OP, I liked the first one and was waiting for the second to come out on Android. Noticed it is the same price right now on Steam and verified with the Steam Deck. Bundles +1. They are the reason my backlog is insane. I have thought about this game for my cat obsessed 7 year old, but then she never sticks with any game for too long so probably doesn't much matter.

Really cute game and easy to get into. Combat is somewhat simplistic which makes it suitable for younger kids. It is sadly short though, I think my partner and I did everything in about 5 to 10 hours. It's also on Apple Arcade if you're already subscribed to that.
