Thanks! In for 1 to Ohio. Needed a good cheap fixed blade for the shoulder bag. Good price and I will take Cold Steel brand over a lot of others for this price point.

So is this a good all-around camping/survival knife if you had to choose just one? I'm usually carrying a multitool and looking to diversify, since the blade is small and the moving parts mean that you don't want to hammer on it (eg for felling small trees). I also have a 4" Buck lockblade that's mostly retired because the Leatherman does it all.

Its definitely not the materials. SK-5 recon tanto still ships to California. That knife is made of the exact same stuff. Then i thought maybe for some reason Amazon thinks the SRK isnt allowed in California. But that isnt the case either because the San Mai SRK still ships to California. Amazon is just being dumb. I'm still annoyed i cant get a SRK-C through amazon for this same reason
