Only extended warranty worth a damn is the one from Best Buy that covers burn in. That's if you care about that of course.

The 77inch C1 uses the same evo panel as the G1 and you can turn on the added G1 brightness from the service menu (at your own risk). I'm doing the same with my 65 inch and it looks the same as the G1 I returned.

fyi check CPS's history on supporting burn in claims.

Reddit and other sites share all the stories...not one successful claim with this warranty company. They leverage their clauses to get out like crazy.

I wouldnt count on that "warranty" to cover anything.

Warranties that actually work: Allstate, Geeksquad, Costco in general, or G1 warranty through LG

They disabled this with a software update fyi...so you can't do it anymore. Also on the 65, only certain sets had the evo panel, google and you can find out if yours does (i know there is a way to tell on the box).

G1 comes with the 5 year LG warranty fyi, thats worth the 200-300 more at the moment (the site that we cant talk about you can get a G1 for the price that you are seeing other sites C1s, obvioulsy not this deal)

A90J won't come down for awhile, its not scheduled to be replaced and is only in the 83"/65/55 not 77" fyi.

I personally dont get one. Have had multiple LG oleds, including one that is 5 years old and still in daily use by kids with 11k hours on it.

if you are nervous about it, id recommend trying best buy price match and geeksquad warranty.

Its a full no hassle warranty, hence the premium.

I live in GA and I gotta say… Brandsmart is one of those places you need a tetanus shot before going. I don't trust any of their stock to be functional. It's a tiny step above a scratch and dent depot. I'd rather pay the extra and get it at Costco.
