This thing is a piece of crap. Very limited on how you can program it (only 4 events in one day). It doesn't actually go by the temperatures you put in the app to set the programming events to. If I say set it to 77 degrees for cooling, it randomly sets it at 82, 79, 74, whatever. The app itself is terrible as it is buried inside of the Alexa app. If you want to use it as a dumb thermometer on the wall, go for it. If you expect more, be ready to be disappointed.
And a lot less features than an ecobee.

Most electric suppliers have a rebate up to $50 on smart stats. My Amazon stat was free after $47.99 rebate

How are the functions? I have a Honeywell z wave that came with the house and it's ok. I was hoping to be able to set different schedules at different times of the day but you can only set two schedules, one for the weekday and one for the weekend.

This allows you to set a different schedule for each say of the week if you want to. We installed these when we bought our house and they work very well.

I have a Honeywell. There are two schedule modes - grouped days (M-F and weekends) and single days.

Got one thanks. Had the ecobee and constant WiFi connection issues which seems to be on trend for the ecobee. I do like the features and the app is nice when it works. Happy to try something new

Keeps the smart thermostat charged and powered, since it uses more power (wifi, voice assistant, etc) than a traditional thermostat that can run off 2 AAA batteries.

Newer A/C units have it included. Older ones don't and you would need to use the C-wire adapter to "add" one into your system.

Wanted this for the garage but only goes down to 50 degrees, which isn't low enough.
