All of the above.. it's horrible at letting your skin breathe. Once you feel the difference and know what cotton vs poly, you'll never do poly again

I am use to buying Walmart/target bed in a bag. But would like to get better bedding but I have no idea how to start, what to look for, etc... Can anyone help me get good bedding that will last.

Yes! Never ever sleep on with polyester. Don't understand anyone that does. You can always find cotton for cheap... Maybe not high thread count, but any kind 100% cotton beats the most expensive polyester (including "fleece", microfiber crap)

Just get any bed in a bag but get 100% cotton. They are much better quality wise .

What does polyester do? Poor moisture wicking? Traps heat? Traps pests? I've never looked into this and curious

In for two. We have young kids that are wetting the beds and worse. So while I prefer cotton. I'll take anything cheap to sleep on clean bedding
