This has been normal price for ever despite "rollback"

I compared to the Costco one for $89 and bought it instead, well worth the $30 more

I haven't used this particular one, but these wheels look very narrow and small. I can't imagine they'd roll on sand with even a little weight in there.
The beach cart I have (more like the personal shopping carts you see in cities) has wheels that are like 10" in diameter and 4" wide.

How are these in the sand? Do I need thicker wheels then this?

We have a similar one and it's a pain in soft sand if there's a lot of weight. So if you want to carry towels and stuff, it's fine. If you add a cooler or chairs, the weight will make it a really tough pull. However, on hard sand (Atlantic style wet, wide, packed sand beaches), it rolls just fine.

I have this bad boy. It is great in the sand and can carry a yeti cooler perfectly instead having to carry it.

if you need to use in the sand, spend the extra $20 on this, it will be money well spent

I bought one of these with the oversized tires 5 years ago and use it just for soccer and softball games, lugging chairs, blankets, coolers, umbrellas, etc...and it's still good as new. Love this thing.

However, being 6'5", it's murder on my back as the handle is too short. yes, it extends, but not enough.

So if you are tall, I"d definitely recommend spending a little extra money and pick up some of these extension cord straps, they work great to add some extra length to the handle:

I guess it is a good deal since everything is inflated. Same price for the past 2 summers.

Horrible. I have a similar cart from Costco and I was dragging it through the sand. What a work out. Get the fattest and biggest wheels you can.

I also purchased the Costco one a few months ago after shopping around. It seemed to be the sturdiest and largest weight capacity of these types that we could find, and it folds more compactly than this one looks to. I really like ours from Costco - would agree it's worth the extra money.

We have this model and took it to the beach once. Sand gets in the gap where the bolts go through the wheels, rendering it unable to roll through said sand. After 30 seconds it turned into a ski sled- a bad bad ski sled. It was fine in the parking lot and boardwalk but avoid sand at all costs.

Anyone have a deal for one with bigger (ideally swappable) wheels for soft sand?
