Even then, since when is Meow mix the upper echelon of cat food? I didn't know cats could easily hunt for carrageenan to balance out their diet.

Right and again, these cans are on the lowest end.
Each of these cans are 2.75oz thats around 77g of meat/water. The label says, there's 82% moisture. That's roughly 18% meat/fillers with a minimum of ar least 12% crude protein.
I've done this stuff for a while. I'm not telling anyone want to feed their cats, but this is basically garbage.
