Good to get for a kid going to college? Was thinking of getting her the $399 asus 14" with i3 intel core processor that is going on sale at Sams in a couple days. I don't have a clue and she don't care as long as she has one for her schoolwork.

Anyone know of any promo codes that might work. Student 10% discount through studentbeans on first purchase does not apply to sale items on acer thus doesn't work...
