3rd party seller.
Will Seagate honor the warranty if you buy from a small merchant?
If it's retail packaging then it doesn't matter. You can check the serial number when you receive the drive on Seagate's website. If it shows retail warranty, you're good to go. If it shows up as OEM drive, then return the drive to the seller.

I got burned by another seller and can recommend HyperHawk. The other company shipped me drives that originally sold in the Czech Republic and had no warranty in my area. I was able to return them on the seller's dime, but it took about 3 weeks to get my refund.
You can take a risk and it might work out, but these are about $30 under the best price I've seen HyperHawk sell for. That makes me think they will be gray market drives with no warranty.

Agree... check reviews on the third party seller, and it should be fairly obvious whether they sent others gray market or US-retail.
Otherwise, immediately run the serials through the seagate website when you get the drive, and return anything that comes back sus (IIRC, it says something like "regional restrictions apply" next to a red exclamation point)
In for two. The 14TB is actually better $/TB value, although it is the last gen so slightly slower, however it's a different seller so the warranty situation is unknown. HyperHawk appears to be selling 18TB retail drives, which come with the retail warranty.
