Craftsman was bought by the same parent company as Dewalt(SBD) back in 2017. It might be the same name but the tools are all SBD. The line of tools is basically a blend of rebranded: Black and decker at the lowest end, porter cable and dewalt brushed at the low/mid end and then dewalt xr at their brushless high end.
V60 didnt work out which sucks but Cub Cadet V60 is the same battery(guess what that is also owned by SBD) and drop in compatible if you wanted some sort of replacement there.

They both have similar rpm/torque with the ridgid impact making slightly more
Both drills say 1/2 inch …but the craftsman impact says it's is 1/4th in, and the ridgid impact states 1/2
The ridgid is $10 cheaper and is more generous with included bits & you can choose between 2 packages
The ridgid has a lifetime limited service agreement with registration while craftsman is 3 years limited
Seem pretty similar, will both probably do the jobs we have in mind, review decent enough, main separator for me is lifetime vs 3 years warranty in this case, with the small bonus of $10 less with more included. (Also 90 day return window on the ridgid not sure about craftsman)
Especially because slickdealers claimed to have used the lifetime ridgid and get replacement without issue in that thread.
Hopefully someone chimes in that actually used the tools, but kept my ridgid order for now
