I'm stuck on the fact that I got this 8 years ago, for the pair, for less than this single costs. Prices need to go back down or I'll never be able to buy new equipment again!

Other than that, I love this set! So fast and easy to use. I do a lot of Beachbody workouts and they have you switch weights very quickly and I'm able to keep up because of these (I'm not able to keep up using power blocks or others - tried using a friends)

How is this a good deal? This is for a single dumbbell. Plus this style dumbbell is less desirable than say a Powerblock. Which pop up for $250 for a pair of 50 lb dumbbells fairly often.

Exactly these are trash compared to power block or iron master.
5 years ago I got a set of these for 200 they were junk.
Tried the 1092 they were even worse heavier plates always felt like they were going to fall out, which they apparently do if you do a Google search

I had these but sold them during lockdown and upgraded to the Powerblocks

The Sams deal doesnt list JRNY membership as being included I don't think.

If you hold out long enough, you can get these for $150 a piece. No need to pay more than that IMHO. The Nordic/Weider styles were selling for $200 a pair (not sure if they're discontinued) but they have a more awkward selector.

I don't think this is the best deal since I've seen them go down to $150 many times throughout the year. If you can't wait, the deal is just okay like getting them on sale.

The minus on this is the shape which makes some movements like curls awkard. The selector depends on your preference. Personally, I love the selector and don't like the PowerBlock selector but I might end up getting them anyway just to have a second pair and the more compact size.
