Got decent reviews on YouTube but the 300ft range max was the biggest challenge stated.

I thought that was max height and not distance from controler..?

A quick Google search shows it has a 2000' range and comments suggest it can be much further with clear line of sight. I am pretty sure 300' is max height

edit - the drones box even says 2000' + range right on the front of the box lower right

From what I saw in the comments, that reviewer reviewed the drone in safe/beginner mode, which was why his range was limited. It likely won't hit the stated 2000ft without incredibly clear line of sight, but 100% it will do far more than the 300ft, I've had syma's that have done more than that.

Nobody seems to be addressing the elephant in the room -- the website? I actually posted this same deal from Woot a few days ago, but it didn't get much transaction and Woot shows it sold out. I'm not familiar with this website - has anyone else ever ordered from them?
