I just want buyers to know- yeah it's not a Samsung 1.5k$ tv but for the price try it, that's why they have a return window and extended warranty if u r concerned. Happy shopping all! And thanks OP for a chance to purchase!!
When they first debuted like 15 years ago, they were viewed as the cheap brand.
Somewhere around 2012 or so, they really increased their quality level, and they were very close in quality to the premium brands, while maintaining an affordable price.
Now over the past couple years, their quality level has dipped again, and they have gone back to being viewed as the cheap brand.

"While Vizio TVs are designed in the United States, they are actually made in several different countries: Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Thailand and Mexico. That's because Vizio outsources 100% of its manufacturing to third-parties such as BOE, Foxconn, Innolux, KIE, Tonly, TPV and Zylux."
With that being said, I have a Vizio M series that is going strong for 8 years now. It still has great picture quality. I get compliments frequently on how nice of a picture it produces. I do have a receiver with upscaling, so maybe that adds value to the picture quality?

Vizio came out with an ultra-wide TV (21:9 aspect ratio.) The Vizio XVT3D580CM
Then they attempted to have a premium series the XVT Pro Series.
Both fizzled out.

Looking for a 55" to replace a plasma. It's too dang hot in the summer to marathon watch with that TV. But it's perfect for the winter.
