Gen2 has higher resolution camera with some degree of autotracking, privacy switch, adaptive color temperature, but no 3.5mm audio output. Basically, it is mainly with improved camera for video call.

I just ordered the Gen 1 bundle last night at ~$25. I would go for this for $15 more otherwise.

I only need it for the Blink camera viewing. I am not going to use the improved camera on Gen 2 anyway. It would be a better choice for only $15 if it was available last night. It is not worth the effort to cancel, reorder, and return for me.
By the way, one can set up a routine to display the live view Blink bell cam automatically when someone ring the door bell although it does not do that natively.

I am getting the instant 25% credit, but it is not applying. Chat is telling me only $30 max cap- anyone else having this issue?

When I ordered the Gen 1 last night with the 25% instant trade in discount, I got $36.xx off (25% of the full bundle price). So the $30 limit is BS..

Are you sure you got the 'Instant' credit. Is the Amazon gift card already added to your account? If so, try adding just a regular Echo to your cart to test if the 25% comes off that.

Confirmed instant credit and have received gift card. No promo applying at checkout, chat was no help. Wanted me to order then wait and apply later, but they were only going to apply 25% of final order total which made no sense. Kind of a mess.

If I understand what I saw doing this deal, the 25% promo will be added to your account for a FUTURE order (once your returned device is verified), so you can't use it for today's order. Amazon's wording on this deal is confusing / ambiguous.
