This Eau de Parfum opens with salty marine notes before melting into invigorating cypress, lavender and rosemary to create an aquatic fougère. Patchouli and musk notes form the woody base, leaving a lasting, mysterious trail.

Thats okay for some cologne, but Armani stuff is usually body activated so it needs body warmth for the correct smell to project and also last on you. Code in particular is suggested to be used in the creases of your body elbows,knees, neck because those are some of the warmest spots on the body and increase longevity of the parfum.

6-7 sprays this morning and I can barely smell it after 1-2 hours, not nose blind either. This scent just does not perform well on me unlike Profumo which lasts for over 6-8 hours.

Just a FYI what your thinking of is the ORIGINAL CODE, the one he linked is a newer fragrance just launched in 2021 which is a multi purpose fragrance that the main note is Lavendar instead of olive tree and tonka. The reviews on it are extremely good from fragrinatica linked below.

Also the other difference is the original was Eau de Toilette compared to the one he linked which is Parfum. The original code used to be my go to night time fragrance for many years still have a bottle of it somewhere.
