If you want an over-ear headset with a directional noise-canceling microphone, this the lowest price point for one. Yes, the lack of bluetooth makes it a bit of a niche product, suitable only for WFH and PC gaming, but it it is a great fit for those situations. It provides noise isolation, no lag, does not pick up ambient sounds and has much greater distance than BT.

Got one last time. Good sound and works great. Didn't realize it wasn't bluetooth or normal wireless. It uses a USB dongle to connect.
For gaming headsets usb dongle is desirable due latency issues with BT.
I bought this a few months ago for $40 and have been loving it for WFH meetings. I can walk around the house and unmute from a button on the headset if needed. No complaints about sound quality either

I haven't tested everything out thoroughly yet, but so far this has been great for the price. I like the volume wheel where you can feel when you have it at max or min (it stops turning) and the mic mute button. Sound quality is good enough for speech, would need to EQ for music but I haven't been using it for that.
To get better range use a USB extension cable and put the USB receiver up high ideally with nothing in front of it (good general advice with wireless stuff). Range was poor when I had it connected to a hub under my monitor, but I put it up higher and range is considerably better.
I'm planning to test with Nintendo Switch to see if that works and I'll report back. I have a Bluetooth adapter that works with Switch, so maybe it'll work? Also can test with my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. If it works well I may pick up a second pair; anyone run two at the same time? Though not sure sound quality would be appropriate for gaming / TV, at least in cases where you can't EQ it.

My initial thoughts after using them for an entire shift:
- Battery life is right at 8 hours. I turned off the headset during my breaks to conserve the battery and it died right at the end of my shift. They really should have used a 12hr battery.
- Audio quality is great and it seems to have less latency than the wired USB Corsair headset I'd been using (less talking over people)
- The headset feels like it's made with really cheap plastic, almost like a cheap dollar store toy.
- I like the barebones-ness of the headset. Rocker switch for volume, mute button. That's all I need. It's literally a wireless, cheaper feeling version of my Corsair so I like the familiarity.
- I wish there was a way to turn off the tone that plays when you press the mute button. It's unnecessary because you can tell whether mute is engaged by feeling whether it's in or out.
All in all I like it and at $30, it's just what I'm looking for. The battery life is the main concern.
My headphones have absolutely no bass. Sound like I'm talking to someone at the end of a hallway. I've adjusted my sound settings and it just gets progressively worse. any idea on how to fix this before i return it?
Thanks for the feedback. I do wonder being USB dongle if it'll work on a PS5. The low-lag for gaming is tempting.

I have this headset.
The sound quality is very good and the bass is very good. JBL under promises on performance. It's a lightweight headset and should be durable. The microphone is thought of as good, not very good but on the high side of good. I had a mic listening session with critical listening participants.
It's a no brainer for $30. Kids do not realize what JBL is as a brand or that the parent company is Harmon/Kardon.
I was thinking the same as well, but I know my company lock USB device detection even if no software is installed so likely may not allow it. YMMV of course as every company has different security protocols.

looking at a wireless headset for my wife's WFH setup but her work computer is locked down. does this require installing any software to use the USB dongle or is it plug-n-play?
Just an FYI, for those looking to utilize their bluetooth wireless earphones with great call quality like the airpods or jabras, there's a way to make it work just like the JBL in this thread without losing call quality. One has to utilize a Jabra link 370/ 380 dongle.
Here's[reddit.com] an excellent reddit thread that explains how this works in detail.
I've been using it for over 2 years now on my various TWS like the Jabra Elite Active 75t and others and it's honestly been great. I suggest getting the Jabra Link 380[jabra.com] since it's bluetooth 5.0 and has greater range but the 370 should work just fine as well.
Like anything it has its pros and cons compared to the wireless JBL. Wireless in ear TWS bluetooth sets can be worn for very long periods of time and are much more comfortable and they are more ubiquitous out there now so you'll be incorporating what you most likely already own. The downside is Jabra supposedly doesn't support these outside of their own approved bluetooth headsets which means that not every set you have might work on the Link 370/380 although that is very rare. They also cost around $100.
For me the lightness of having these in my ears and going above the limitations of Win 10 and Mac restrictions when it comes to bluetooth and above all retaining the same excellent call quality that I get on my mobile phone calls for my daily work marathon VOIP calls has been worth it.
It's not clear whether this works for Mac - the description say it's PC only, but other people on the web seem to say it's worked for them on macOS. Any experience here?
I just sent the seller a message to clarify this. That said, when a description states PC is normally means Windows only. Personally I find the 2.4 gHz dongle thing weird though like most routers, mine is dual band.

I now own this headset and can confirm it works well with my M1 MacBook Air, with a USB-A dongle of course.

Any luck with the Nintendo switch?
