Hi foks, Acer Predator XB3 - 27" Display WQHD 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 16:9 1ms 400Nit is on sale for $200 and I hope to get your inputs. I read some reviews and they seem to be the same monitor? There is a $40 difference, XB3 does have a vesa mount plus a better brand (although they are from acer both, predator is a higher line). Otherwise are they using the same panel and everything else is same?

Bought this last time, overall pretty happy with it. Really hoped for USB ports but the picture isn't correct on eBay but checked acer site and had no USB ports. It's a little dim for 400 nit. No dead pixels. Packaging was a little rough, the bottom of the stand was loose in the box, thought something was broken at first. Back of mine was full of scratches, but screen was fine

I would not touch these now. They are probably the returns from the last sale by people like me. I sent the 3 I had back. 2 were not 400nits because they didn't get the firmware update and the 3rd was bright but had alot of backlight bleeding.

I have this one and I guess I got lucky with a perfect copy - couldn't find anything else in 2K, 144 hz, IPS, with USB for >$200.

The build quality is average and the stand is awful so I replaced it with a VESA gas piston arm. But if you set it and forget it - it works very well

I bought one during the last deal. Firmware was not updated for 400 nits. There were a couple of dead pixels but they weren't very noticeable. No cosmetic defects on the panel or housing. However, there was a TON of light bleed. The display was completely washed out. Really disappointed in the "refurb."
