This is a great deal on these. The fidelity is so-so and the volume is limited (can't listen in noisy environments, even normal street traffic is often too much) but the open-ear format is brilliant for background listening. I love using mine to game on my steamdeck in the living room while everyone else is watching TV or reading because I can hear everything, but if someone ask me a question or engages in conversation I can hear them and pause the game to respond. I've also got a set with the microphone for work so I can wear it as a headset - it's much less tiring/isolating than having a set of buds in.

If you run, road bike/mountain bike, etc....don't hesitate and pick these up. You can still hear the music and be safe with the enivronment around you.

Is it still half if you've already bought 2 different pairs instead of one good pair?

I have had these for almost a year and love them. Battery life is all day, I hate having anything in my ears and these have been a god send. This is the same price they sell them often at sam's club

After 5 months, very happy with the Moing which can be found for $35:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JFTD74R

And recently picked up the Tokani with a larger battery, slightly more cumbersome and well built for $30:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095PR8KLG

I do not know how they directly compare to Aftershokz except being LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE for something very similar that works well for podcasts, cycling, and the gym.
I get easily more than 8 hours with these, I use them at work all day listening to music and making calls from 6am-4pm and they still have about half a charge left

Reading the reviews I saw a complaint about the Tokani's not being great for the gym, particularly for items where you'd be laying down, like bench pressing. What's your impression of this?

This is a good deal and they are worth buying if you run, hike or cycle. I wear these when I run and hike. I usually run or hike solo, so I feel safer being able to hear around me. I used them for training for my first marathon and during my marathon. The battery life is very good. I'm slow, so my first marathon was 4:48. I wore these the whole time and still had enough charge for my next two runs.

For this price, I'm picking up another pair. Thanks!

Another vote for the quality and service. I had an issue after a year and a half with mine and they replaced them quickly. I believe the Trekz is just a lower model from the same company. I have the Aeropex (basically the openrun) and they seem to work well for calls. I was hoping for a deal on the Pro too.

The mic isn't the best so you can hear the caller good but they might ask you to repeat what you said on occasions. If you use it for quick call then the other person should have no complaints.

(After)Shokz don't work particularly well either. I can't speak to the bench pressing because I'm a lazy bastard but laying down with them on is pretty unpleasant. The moing looks like it's much more flexible so I'm curious whether they are more comfortable for laying down.

They really had to go and rename everything? So these are the aeropexes? If so, this is a fantastic deal. I love my aeropexes except for laying down.

Just picked up the Tokani....they have a $10 coupon, so it comes in at $20. Will use this for my morning 10 mile ride. I hope it'll get along with my bike helmet. REPPED!

I've had the AfterShokz Aeropex model for a year, and love it. Perfect for listening to the baseball as I do stuff around the house, or podcasts while out walking, and my preferred headset for phone calls. Not great (but not bad) for music, and as previously said, not good in noisy environments, but great in the right conditions. Love being able to hear what's going on around me.

Oh biggest annoyance on the Aeropexes and (After)Shokz in general is that you cannot rewind. Double tap to go forward one tap to answer phone / play press and hold for voice assistant. Is it really that hard to add a rewind button combination?

I havent taken many phone calls on my Aftershokz but the few I have had and some went for about 5 minutes I never had a problem hearing the person or they understanding me. I have not had anyone ask me to repeat myself, so I would say they are pretty decent to good. Since its a open mic though I would not expect crystal clear sound for the other party but everything should sound adequate to keep a conversation going.

All of them suck at this aspect, I bench press with my Aftershokz regularly and the band behind the head moves around and gets annoying. This is a problem for anything that uses a behind the back of the head design. It has not been problematic enough for me to give up on them, but it does require me to readjust when laying down a few times.

My only big issue now a days is that the music at the local gym sucks and unfortunately the volume on the Aftershokz does not go that high so for heavy days I think I will be going back to a new set of earbuds I just got with earloops for a steal off Walmart. Honestly I should probably post the deal cause with AptX and BT 5.0 they are insanely cheap for being a name brand compared to anything Amazon has to offer.

Only went to the gym with them once so far compared to the Moings (which I've been using for ~5 months) and they were fine w/no issue (in that I did not notice them) for laying exercises like bench press and crunches. YMMV They are a little stiffer and smaller fit compared to the Moings but the overall build quality seems better. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

I've tried different cheaper versions of these and also have the openrun pro shokz and would rather pay the extra for the shokz.

Rewind is a triple-tap. I loved my aeropexes and just recently upgraded to the Open Run Pro! Great headphones and a great company!
