Prime Day has been good to The Jimmy
Here are some examples:
Amazon Basics Pro Gaming Headset - Red $2.98
Condition: Used - Acceptable
Large cosmetic imperfection(s) on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
Arrived in new condition. Couldn't find a mark on them.
Piy Painting USB Microphone Kit $5.44
Condition: Used - Acceptable
Cosmetic imperfection(s) bigger than 1" on top, front or sides of item. Cosmetic imperfection(s) bigger than 1" on bottom or back of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
Packaging was fine but had multiple return labels on it. Upon unboxing noticed that an important piece that tightens and stabilizes the scissor arm was missing. Otherwise looked brand new. Amazon refunded without a return (probably got tired of selling it and having people returning it).
Lots of Funko pops described as like new with no damage stated with most arriving bent, dinged and in some cases crushed.
Funko Pop! Rocks: Freddie Mercury King Multicolor, 3.75 inches $5.92
Condition: Used - Very Good
Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
Bought two. See photos on condition.
The Godfather Collection: Omerta Edition [Blu-ray], Al Pacino $8.98
Condition: Used - Like New
Arrived new/sealed.
Death Wish (Blu-ray Steelbook), Charles Bronson $2.79
Condition: Used - Like New
Steelbook was destroyed. Looked like it had been dragged behind a vehicle for miles. Disc had a 1/2 inch scratch. Refunded and told to toss it.
And the list goes on and on. It's a total crap shoot. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
And as mentioned they are good about taking returns. I use chat function (which they have made very difficult to even get to a person this way) and when something isn't even close to condition I request to send them pictures to show the condition of the item. This also can be a task as 99.999999% the CS rep doesn't want to do that. You have to walk them thru the process everytime as they tell you to email them but they also have stopped that and it will bounce back as undeliverable so the rep needs to send you an email so you can attach the images. The Freddie Mercury Funkos were an example I sent pics and the rep couldn't believe how bad they were.
Anyway, I ramble. Just some of my experiences with Amazon Warehouse.
From time to time, Amazon and Target.com have them 24oz for ~$10.
Zojirushi out performs everybody in tests. Typically 2x longer than most competitors. It's also easy to disassemble for cleaning. Their system also prevents a rush of hot coffee hitting your face unlike some cups.
Stanley is well made though it appears not as well as they used to be. The older ones were pretty much bomb proof, though.

Is it really that good of a purchase at $177?

As always, the newbies are complaining that the item they looked for wasn't eligible. That's ALWAYS the case with warehouse deals like this. The trick is to get the link from the post here labeled "& More" and search for what you want there.
And of course, the inevitable debates about whether Warehouse deals are even worth it. Of course they are, as long as you understand that you're gambling. It's usually worked out well for me.
My best score was a Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 (non-XT) in "good" for $470 at 4AM yesterday. With all the 6800CT's in the warehouse, I'd hoped to snag one of those for under $600, but nothing worked with the discount. Of well. I still did pretty well. After that, all that was left with the discount was low end cards or way overpriced high end ones, although they did get a few Radeon 6700 XT's in at ok prices at times.
Beyond that, it was pretty random, as warehouse treasure hunts always are.
- An extra loud alarm clock marked down from $19 to $6.
- Some aquarium driftwood normally $15 for $8
- a cold eye mask for my poor allergy-ridden eyes normally $10 for $4.50.
- three shoulder braces, to provide support and prevent dislocations!:
- One marked way down from $30 to $7!
- A nicer one that's normally over $50 for $26.
- a smaller size of that, in case I need it - again normally $50, but for $18, this time.
- A handheld luggage scale marked down from $12 to $8
Plus a bunch of other stuff marked down for Prime Days, including the Amazon, Uber Eats and Grubhub gift cards, and a couple of licenses for Norton's,
