I bought this a couple months ago, but my cats still meow nonstop for me to turn on the faucet right next to it. Someone save me.

Petsafe isn't great either. After a few years, we realized the bacteria was coming back faster and faster, no matter how hard we tried to clean it. The plastic is just porous enough to create a bacteria reservoir.

We replaced them with ceramic and stainless steel fountains. As a bonus, the ceramic one is really attractive.

Had one of these for about a year or more. I ended up throwing it away and just putting water inside of a stainless steel dish. The maintenance to keep this cheap plastic clean is insane and will drive you crazy, extremely time consuming. It gets disgusting. The pump clogs very quickly.

I've had multiple PetSafe and tried so many of these and ultimately have given up eventually they all get gross with algae and slime and require more time and effort to clean than it's worth it

Water fountains are great but don't use this basin type on vacation if the power goes out or brakes

Agree, my cat hates this and you need to buy filter and clean it or it grows bacteria and mold. Just change out their water when you do their food
