[UPDATE: someone below said battery was still 75% after a year, so actually I'll order, since I can deal w/checking/replacing batteries that infrequently]

Mine still show 75% battery after a year and have worked well when my sump pump died.

No opinion on this device but that would be a major benefit of a water sensor/alert
