Didn't find this posted but we also have another FP deal on Brand new 2nd Generation here if you are interested. Found this deal when i was searching through the 25% warehouse deal items.

The real question is.. what happened to the availability of the regular/new version of these 3rd gen AirPods? I was able to place an order via Amazon @ $139.99 earlier today, but ship date shows July 27-Aug 4th.

Could be due to global supply chain issues but you would expect amazon to sort it out before prime day. Most times items are shipped earlier than the projected dates so look for an delivery update email. Shouldnt take more than a week to get it delivered.

Yep I get all that. Other retailers have them in stock, and I haven't noticed any shortage on them before. Just very strange...

I'm skeptical of the refurbished AirPods. Not so much because of ear junk, rather that battery degradation that always crops up on these. I'm on my second pair of "regular" AirPods, and my current gen-2 versions only last about 1.5 hours for voice calls. I ordered a new set of 3rd generation to hopefully get 2+ hours of talk time.

If you are not paranoid about the ear junk I would recommend giving it a try as it comes with 90-day worry-free refund or replacement guarantee. As a long time prime member I never had any issues with returns be it Warehouse deals or renewed.

Yeah but you're not going to know/find out if the battery is already 20% used in that initial 90 day period. I'd rather be guaranteed 100% battery health + warranty for a year vs. 90-day warranty. I just have had such bad luck with the batteries in AirPods after the first year or two.

I just clicked on the "see all buying options" button and scrolled down to see the 25% off ones. They are there just hidden for some reason.

I don't think these will considered refurbished. "Used-Like New" seem like returns and not "refurbished" so I think it will only be the general 30 day return.

I did order a pair "used" with the discount from the warehouse. It came to $99.74 w/o tax.
I already have a pair of the Pro's, but I figured $100 was a good deal to have a 2nd AirPods around to use. Now I am concerned that they won't have the "refurbished warranty" and I may be asking for trouble. I don't think I want to pay 40+ tax more and get them from Costco. It was initially an impulse buy for a cheap pair.

Update you can get rid of this issue if you put your phone in airplane mode and then open case and hold button for 15 seconds. Zach can't track me any longer

Mine came and earwax was minimal, but the case was all scuffed up. Could tell this person used them for a while before returning.

Weirdest thing on trying to get a return on this from Amazon. Had to wait and chat to a rep about it and then they told me my ONLY option was UPS pick up. I could not bring to UPS store or Whole foods. HAD to be UPS pick up. First time I've heard that one. What a pain in the ass waiting for a UPS pickup someday.
