As of the firmware and software I have today, these are NOT individually addressable LEDs. Due to the extensive (and excellent) diffusion, you can't differentiate between individual LEDs anyway. There are several modes to alternate between using either the physical button, the app, Home Assistant, or voice assistants (Alexa, etc.).
It doesn't hold it's shape, it's very flexible and wobbly, but you can secure it easily against a flat surface with adhesive or mold it into a 3D shape with a wire or wrap it around your head if you want. 😂
One of the settings is a "dancing" music/sound mode that will either respond to noise levels picked up by its microphone or based on music you play from your phone, etc.
While you can't physically link multiple strips together, you can link them together via the software and it's flawless (with two anyway) at synchronizing them side by side or sequentially.
Also, they have pretty decent CRI and you can get some nice, natural white, warm white, etc. out of them. Really bold colors too. At night you can give yourself a seizure with some of the crazy lightshow modes though!

Those are RGB not RGBIC. RGB the whole strip is the same color. RGBIC allows you to change the color of each individual LED.

This deal is much much better looking lights. However, it all depends on your application. Under the kitchen cabinet? Won't matter much. On the wall or behind a wall mounted tv? These are better
