Order history shows that I got this for $6.14 in 2020. Talk about inflation...sigh ... 😔
Just another data point, as I used to buy this religiously for my kids when they were babies. I love this stuff, but this jar, though super good value, takes forever to use:

Prices paid on Amazon after all promos and/or S&S, before taxes:
Jan. 2014: $8.54
Dec. 2016: $7.66
Jan. 2017: $6.62
Feb. 2018: $5.94
Jul. 2018: $3.84

I'm sure we've bought locally at Target or Babies 'R Us as well.

Thanks OP. The coupon didn't show up on the product page for me when logged in to my account, but it did show up when I went there with a different account, and then I was able to copy and paste it while logged in with the original. I've had this happen more often lately where I'm eligible but the coupon doesn't show.

Here's a link to the coupon page for anyone else that gives this a shot but doesn't see that extra 15% off on the product page: https://www.amazon.com/promotion/...VF0CYDO5X?

I won't need this until several months from now. Should I buy or wait for a better deal?

That's not inflation, you just got a ridiculous deal. My history from 2014 shows that I paid $15.74 off the regular price of $22.48.

It's not inflation per se, it's a consumer retail environment that continues to go unchecked. Corporate Profits are at 70 year highs, with the C-Suite and high level executives receiving the bulk of those profits by far.

Regardless, for current purchasing context, two 7oz TUBES at Costco are $24.99, you get a tiny little partially filled "lip balm" stick as well, if that's worth anything to you. And yes, arguably the tubes are FAR better to have for on the go and traveling situations vs the big 14oz tubs but double price feels like an awful lot of "premium" to pay for that "convenience". To each their own I suppose. 😇🤷 ♂️

The fact that sales like that really don't happen anymore, is linked to inflation. So, it is inflation.

Wow. I started buying these few years back and kept telling myself "kids are expensive.."

I guess good thing is that these are FSA/HSA approved.

This stuff is like the Swiss army knife of skin care products. Heals everything! When the kids were babies, it was the only thing that got rid of their diaper rash. Highly recommend for any skin ailment! also works for chapped lips, cracked heels, etc.

No, it's called price gouging.

Thank you for sharing this! Aquaphor had a big price increase 2-3 months ago and I stocked up beforehand but this is still a great deal compared to what it cost before the price increase. Used to be $12ish but then jumped to $18, even at Costco.
