The milk frothing system for the lattego is unrivaled imo. You fill the carafe with milk then connect it. When you are done, you wipe the pour spout and put the leftover milk filled carafe into the refrigerator for later. Other counter systems require cleaning or purging.

It's easily one of the best features for the uninitiated or lazy like myself.

Also has a quick clean feature for the lattego milk container. 3000 series doesn't have it

Trying to decide which to keep, 3200 lattego with extra filter for $575 or 4300 for $675....I have both ordered, I thought I was crazy for the $575 and due to slickdeals I am now at the 4300, hopefully the 5400 doesn't come in stock. If the cb of 10% works on the 4300 it will be a no brainer but I don't really have faith in it.
Yeah. You won't get it. I've resigned to that fact, but don't have the 3200 as backup.

I am there with you brother. Took me 24 hours on Prime days to pull the trigger for the 3200. And then 5 minutes on Slickdeals, here I am hoping for the CB to kick in laugh out loud
Anw, one thing for sure that we will get a good machine and I'll abuse the hell out of it

Don't bother, just use the coupon.

Love my 5400. One of the best features that sets it apart from the 4300 is the option to make double shot beverages. Then you can also use more milk and essentially make a drink twice as big.
This is exactly what I do with my 5400 as well. The extra shot feature is by far the most used feature I use from the 5400.

I thought the extra profiles would be useful but turns out I don't use that at all since everyone likes the settings the same.

I had to clear cache and cookies to get Philips to accept the coupon with TCB link (still not sure if it stuck)..
You have to start with an empty cart too.
Can you give some more info on the tcb ?

Any particular reason you want the 5400? If its for more drink choices, look at the Gaggia Cadorna Prestige which is on sale at Amazon for $1399 and pair that with a amazon prime CC for 5% off. The Gaggia Magenta Prestige has many drink choices also and is $799. Reviews note it makes excellent quality drinks and the user interface allows lots of customization. Quality probably a step up above the Philips even though Philips now owns Saeco and Gaggia. Delonghi Dinamica Plus is another one but hard to find in stock, BBB carries it and can pair with a 20% coupon if it ever came back.

Do they have something like the lattego? I hate frothing milk.

Yes all the ones mentioned have a integrated milk system like the lattego. Went down the rabbit hole the last few weeks when our Delonghi Magnifica was finally showing some issues. Price wise for the features I didn't see anything that came close to the 4300 when factoring in the 10% TCB, but without it I would think the Gaggia Magenta Prestige is the winner in value/performance. Tons of useful youtube videos on the machines.

It is only $70 more expensive than 4300 before tax after coupon and cashback, but it has much better icon and display IMO.

Despite that, I placed an order for 4300 since 5400 was rarely in stock from browsing slickdeals.

Magenta Prestige is $899, and looks to be about the same machine (same drink options and brew group) as the Philips.
With the 20% off coupon, the Philips wins that one even before the non-existent TCB cash back.
