The milk frothing system for the lattego is unrivaled imo. You fill the carafe with milk then connect it. When you are done, you wipe the pour spout and put the leftover milk filled carafe into the refrigerator for later. Other counter systems require cleaning or purging.

It's easily one of the best features for the uninitiated or lazy like myself.

Also has a quick clean feature for the lattego milk container. 3000 series doesn't have it

Magenta Prestige is $899, and looks to be about the same machine (same drink options and brew group) as the Philips.
With the 20% off coupon, the Philips wins that one even before the non-existent TCB cash back.
Gaggia Magenta Prestige Super-Automatic Espresso Machine https://a.co/d/7hvcwaC

$799 and can get 5% more if you have the Prime CC. 12 drink choices and Italian made. I'm keeping the Philips but the Gaggia is also a good deal.

Yes all the ones mentioned have a integrated milk system like the lattego. Went down the rabbit hole the last few weeks when our Delonghi Magnifica was finally showing some issues. Price wise for the features I didn't see anything that came close to the 4300 when factoring in the 10% TCB, but without it I would think the Gaggia Magenta Prestige is the winner in value/performance. Tons of useful youtube videos on the machines.
Seems like the Gaggia has a tube (internal) for the milk frother. One of the major benefits of the LatteGo is that cleaning is very easy since there is no tube. I'm not saying the Gaggia is harder in that regard since I have no hands on experience but def. something to consider.

It was disappointing at first, but I got it dialed in after many many bad shots. Works a treat now.

TCB sucks as they did not register my purchase. Fie on them.
How many? I'm in that situation right now

is this THE BEST automatic espresso / latte machine? I got a breville barista and i have buyers remorse. It takes too much effort to dial in and all that junk everytime you switch coffee.

These Philips lattego superautomatics are probably the easiest to clean and use of all the full autos. Much quicker compared to a semi auto like a breville barista. No superauto will get you the absolute best quality espresso though.

You still have to dial this when you switch coffee. This machine won't make dial it for you.

The best? Not close. If budget is of no concern and you want the best you should be looking at a Jura or something, they run in the thousands

Here's my experience with TCB: I ordered the Saeco Xelsis from Philips.com last thanksgiving, stacking the Philips sale, 25% healthcare coupon, PayPal 5% with chase freedom, and TCB 10% CB. The transaction did not show up on TCB, but after waiting the required period of time I filed a claim in mid December. FF to March I sent a "nudge" on the claim on TCB, then a week or two later I received a resolution and I saw the 10% amount pending on my TCB account, and another 2 weeks or so later it became payable. It's probably worth trying, but don't factor it into your calculation when you're deciding whether it is a slick enough deal for you.

This. I use my super auto most mornings, but on my days off I pull out my hand grinder and make drinks on my old delonghi dedica with unpressurized basket. The taste difference is significant, but the convenience is also very significant.

Anyway you can assist with some tips? Have had it a week now - 40 cups later still not satisfied…
