The milk frothing system for the lattego is unrivaled imo. You fill the carafe with milk then connect it. When you are done, you wipe the pour spout and put the leftover milk filled carafe into the refrigerator for later. Other counter systems require cleaning or purging.

It's easily one of the best features for the uninitiated or lazy like myself.

Also has a quick clean feature for the lattego milk container. 3000 series doesn't have it

No difference in the brew. Philips, Gaggia, Saeco all have the same "brew group". It's just features they add on the higher models.
Would you say any of the features are worth paying $100 more?

Depends on what you drink, really.
The one feature that has proven helpful is the "quick clean" to get the milk out of the lattego duct. The duct isn't hard to clean manually, as it splits in two when taken apart, but you have to empty it of milk to clean it.

I have been waiting on the 5400 to go back in stock. For those that know more than me, is the difference in price worth it?
You can compare the different models here: https://www.usa.philips.com/etc/philips/b2c/compareproducts.html?locale=en_US&catalog=CONSUMER&ctn=E... [philips.com]

From what I can tell, the main differences between the 5400 and 4300 are:

Finishing: Spraypainted Silver specchiato (4300) vs Chromed (5400)
User profiles: 2 (4300) vs 4 (5400)
Screen: Black and white (4300) vs color (5400)
Extra drinks: 5400 has all drinks the 4300 has + 3 additional ones: Flat White, Caffe Latte, and Espresso Lungo
Extra feature: 5400 has an extra shot feature that can be added to most drinks. 5400 also has a travel mug feature.

It's really up to you if the difference in price is worth it. The bigger issue IMO is that the 5400 goes out of stock very quickly. You have to sign up for email alerts from Philips and try to get one as soon as they go in stock. Definitely possible but hard to do. So the 4300 is probably more convenient to buy.

The 4300 also has a color screen. The touch icons have a different color picture above the LCD on the 5300.

Does anyone know how long (about) Philips takes to ship these out?
I placed my order Friday night, and it got ship out Monday morning. Expected delivery Friday.
When I ordered, the website says delivery within 4-5 business day.
Hope it helps. I can't wait to get a hold of it.

Bought the 3200 LatteGo on Prime Day but pulled the trigger on this last night. The 4300 had some slight improvements (display and UI, user profiles and silver finish instead of gloss black) that made it a better choice for me.

Used my Discover card to get the 5% reward from PayPal purchases and 5% cash back from B Frugal. Appreciate the informative posts in the thread. Have learned a lot.

What does the travel mug feature do? Is that a regular coffee but in a bigger size? Without that feature, what's the most oz coffee it can make? Kind of lame that's only a feature on the most expensive one.

This right here. While the Breville does PID out of the box, parts are hard to find and upgrades are difficult because everything on it (e.g. portafilter) is non-standard. I have the 870XL and repairs are all hacks since parts are ridiculous priced if you can even find them.

No, and they very likely won't.
Lots of complaints on sitejabber (and similar but not as many on TrustPilot) on how they don't pay on larger purchases. What will happen is they will deny the claim because you used an "unauthrorized coupon" or some other excuse.
Sucks about TCB. Mine already shipped, so not sure if it's worth redoing an order through a 5% site and returning the TCB ordered one.

TCB didn't register for me either. Opened a claim.

That sucks...

Machine is good though. Very convenient. Love that the milk can just be put back in the fridge with essentially no cleaning.

I would rather save the money and go for the Jura Giga X7.

Better machine.
Some 12x price tag? Is it really $8,000 better?

Jura is arguably the top tier for super-autos, but that price tag is absolutely commercial level. Embarrassment
(The Giga X7 is a "professional' machine)

Does this make a regular black coffee cup? Not espresso?

Recommended grinder setting for Super Crema? I'm new to all this, upgrading from a Ninja coffee maker that has been reliable and done its job well but looking forward to moving up
