I bought a scooter from this seller refurbished. Works great and came unregistered. Had 1.5 miles on it.

I bought another refurbished from woot and it came registered to another owner. Only the owner can deregister, had to send it back.

Do you think this will be ok for a 12 year old? Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one as I can use my discover via PayPal for an extra 10% off. Thanks for the info!

There are a few different modes. In sport mode is goes around 20MPH which is pretty fast, maybe too fast for a 12 year old. You can keep it in economy mode though and it'll limit it to a lower speed. It only has front brakes which can be a bit scary. Built like a tank though!

It's considered 'eBay refurbished' which means free returns and 2-year warranty, so that's a plus.

The KQI 3 Pro is better overall for most people. It's a little larger and slightly heavier but gets more real-world range, has better build quality, better lights, and better braking.

Once you bind the scooter to the app, it should show more info. You could tell the version from looking at the serial number.

Did you figure out how to check for mileage and generation of scooter? We just got ours today and it has 0.2 miles and it's a second gen motor. Haven't tried it out yet but it looks brand new.

Mine had 4.04 miles on it. No idea how to find out the gen

I used this guide to find out...To identify the motor, locate the serial number on the rear hub motor. First generation motors have serial numbers that start with the number 6. Second generation motors have serial numbers that start with the number 9. https://electric-scooter.guide/re...ax-review/
