Unless you're a hardcore movie buff who plays a lot of 4K physical media, the differences you'll notice between the two are going to be negligible. Both are extremely good TVs and you'll be happy with the C1 no question.

That's definitely the risk you take on waiting for a better deal. I don't think the C1/A80J OLEDs will be in stock during Black Friday.

I was holding out for the A80J but pulled the trigger on the 77" c1 from Best Buy for $2000 delivering tomorrow… I don't game at all. I'm assuming it's not worth the extra $400?

Best of luck the 77 inch inventory much thinner doubt you find a non refurb on bf- look at the 77c1 as an example bestbuy is effectively oos on the east coast and not getting anymore

SO I jumped on this deal yesterday morning, and after poking around on slickdeals read some not so great things about OLED panels through secondipity, anyone have any thoughts about whether or not I should pull the trigger on this deal and return the other one to secondipity

I would at least try for a price adjustment with Secondipity. They sold the same set for $1,358.40 yesterday evening. I'm rolling my dice on that one and then going to take it from there.
