Best Buy chat was able to cancel the TV for me surprisingly. The TV and sound bar are separate items on the receipt so it worked out well. You should have no problem doing it in store too I'm guessing. Came to $432 with tax for the sound bar and will be available for pickup tomorrow! Best prime day deal for me this year didn't come from Amazon!

*EDIT* I received a cancellation email from Samsung for the sound bar. I'm not sure what happened and am currently following up with Best Buy on this. Please do not follow these instructions until I'm able to clear this up. Your best bet is to try and return in store so you know if they will allow you to do so or not

thanks guys. i'm in the BB chat queue now, says 68 min wait. hopefully they can assist.

i requested the previous chat log (when i requested they cancel just the tv) be emailed to me at the end of the session but I haven't received it yet. but hopefully they can look at that and see that they goofed and offer to price match, but at this point i'm not counting on it.

bummer! i was already looking up reviews on the soundbar and getting excited for it. just goes to show you that it's not yours until it's in your possession. hopefully someone learns from my experience. i'll keep updating as this saga plays out

thanks for your condolences!

I picked my order yesterday and return TV back immediately and they gave a return receipt with zero dollar and today I got 108.74 dollars refund from Samsung. This should help all those who are not sure what to do with TV.

As another commenter has noted, adding tv and soundbar separately works. Checked out both for 800 with tax for pick up CA

Bought the TV and sound bar for pickup at Best Buy tomorrow. Now to see if they will let me only pick up the sound bar and cancel the TV. Shows on receipt as $399 for tv and $399 for sound bar

Even if we're not able to separate the TV and soundbar orders, I would still pick up the combo compared to just the soundbar. I was going to get the soundbar for $700 anyways… this will just add a bonus TV for $100 so to speak.

No, ordered the soundbar in samsung.com. Either you can ship to home or ship to store (best buy). I used best buy store pick

That TV is not great. I purchased it previously and returned it, not a great picture compared to other TV models.
