I tried using perks at work and no luck on the price. I see $2499


Update:
Used edu account and price got adjusted to $1749 , chatted with cs and mentioned referral code is not working and got extra 5% off

Is ALR screen must for the ultra short throw projector. Would I compromise a lot without alr. I am hesitant to spend another 1000$ on the screen if I get this.

You can build your one ALR screen for cheap. There are lots of DIY video

7t is a phosphor wheel, blue laser combo, 9t is rbg laser. 9t is much better in terms of color accuracy, but costs a lot more
