FYI for anyone who has a current wells fargo credit card - for most of their older cards you can do a product change over to this card instead. I just did this so I can move away from my old 1% cash back card to upgrade to this. You don't get the sign up bonus but all of your credit limit, age of account and all transfers over with it.
Approved 2.5k credit line

Here's my plan. My local utilities allow extra payment. 500 to electricity, 500 to water, 500 to etc and set up the CC to pay monthly to finish before APR is up and free 300 dollars
in fact i've got medical bills anyway

One catch though. I have an older CC from wells that I can switch with Autograph. However, when I see the final list of benefits, Autograph def has more cashback and no Foreign Trans Fee BUT they remove the following that came with the older card:
Travel Accident Insurance
Extended Warranty Protection
Price Protection
Purchase security
Lost luggage reimbursement
So not sure if its worth switching.
Probably a silly question, but do you get the bonus points if you still carry a balance at/after 3 months and hitting $1500 (utilizing 0% Apr and paying down the debt)?

Yes you will but if you do a statement credit for the $300 it will not count as a minimum payment
To bad they don't offer the visa signature anymore. I have one that gets me 50% more value when redeem for travel but forgot to get one for my wife. If anyone figures how to get one now that incredible value.
