I would definitely be a little wary of buying the on display oleds. I was just at my local Best Buy in Texas looking at their 77" g1 oled display unit (labeled as open box) for $1799 and the store associate straight up showed me all the burn in that had accumulated on the screen after being on constant display for a year. It became quite obvious after he had pointed it out and mentioned that the price was a good deal but only if you don't mind the permanent burn in which is a lot more susceptible on oleds. Personally he thought it wasn't worth it. But it all depends on your unit of course just wanted to share this since I was seriously considering it given the price.

My manager only would come down to $2100 for the display. I'd be tempted at $1500-1700 if they come with warranty.

just came back from costco they had the 65 inch boxed brand new for 1449,

I took a gamble on display 77in c9 out of Best Buy. Had 3248 hrs and you know it was in torch mode (Dynamic) the entire time. No burn in and no problems 2 years later.

it says right there, display only. looks like they are getting rid of that ONE piece of unit at ONE store. even if every costco was doing it, this is a terrible deal. dont buy a used oled. i'm scared of taking care of NEW oleds.

If they throw in the warranty wouldn't that be ok? My coworker majors (electronics) guy said they'd include the 5 year warranty if I buy the display.
