The mower without self propel like this one is worth the asking price for sure in my opinion.
During my evaluation, I was impressed with the mower's mowing power and light weight. I cut some really thick grass and it motor'd right through without any drama. This was thick and tall Florida grass that would have bogged down or stalled a standard gas mower. I tried both mulching and bought and tried out the grass discharge chute for it. The grass discharge chute goes on the back where the bagger would sit and costs about 30 bucks extra. I did not try bagging with the mower.
My problem was that the self propel (which the listed mower here does not have) felt cheap and was not reliable. The levers were plastic toys and the propel function, while acceptably fast, would cut out during a long straight away. In the middle, it would just stop assisting and stop the mower. Because the mower was equipped with self propel, it was difficult to push with it not providing the propelling. Some of it must stay engaged at all times I guess. It also took a good 2 seconds until moving after the self propel lever was pulled. This was awkward, and if you tried to push the mower to start it moving sooner, it was tough as once the lever is pulled, the system is engaging for that two seconds and the propelling wheels are locked until it starts moving. Totally annoying.
Due to these self propelling issues only, I decided to return the mower. Returning to Walmart online was easy though. I could take it back to a store or do an online return and they provided Fedex labels and scheduling for Fedex to come get the mower from my house free of charge and with free return shipping. To save me a trip to the store, I did the online return.

Apparently there are some inserts to claim a free fast charger.
