1st phone has white spot and sent to Apple. Apple denied the warranty due to 3rd party modification, and I think the screen is replaced. Still under warranty until 04/22, which is useless.
2nd phone, screen is cracked and screen is replaced too. Still under warranty until 03/22, which is useless too.
3rd phone, heavily used and out of warranty. Screen seems original. I can see bad scratch front and back.
Be very very careful and know you are taking your chance.
1st month service required for activation.
2nd month service is not required for unlocking.
Phone will unlock after 60 Days.

Don't do any auto renew or put any credit card as payment.
on the 60th day, it should unlock on it's own.
Plus now metro mandates $20 activation fee for each line. and a non-Tmobile network number to port-in.
SO Metro (new condition unit price of purchasing two) - NON-Tombile port-in and $99+$45+$20=$164 vs. Total wirless (Reconditioned): NO port-in required and $84+$25=$109

most of these phones have 3rd party parts on them such as screens and batteries.
in the last iPhone 11 refurb deal which were 200, I received one with a plastic film that looks like it came from apple and one that usually comes with the 3rd party screens.
I got in on a iPhone 11 refurb deal and I'm just now coming up on 60 days. Mine is set to be unlocked on the 18th.
Or are you talking about the XR refurb deals?
