No cancellation email, junk or otherwise.

-BUT- Y'all should check your CC statements. My purchase was fully posted, past pending on my CC. I haven't received a cancellation email. But I have a refund that just posted for the purchase price with yesterday's date, that seems to have skipped the 'pending' stage since it wasn't there yesterday!

Bummer. Really wanted to try a recent iPhone. For 100 bucks it made sense. I enjoyed my 5c years ago, but it only had 8GB of storage so quickly became completely unusable, but I use a lot of Google stuff, including my carrier (Fi), so I'm not willing to dive both feet in on a full-price unit until I know if it'd work for me.

SCAM Verizon is doing its thing again! I was on phone for over hour and half and after I was transferred and gave same information second time. I got hung up by their rep. LOL what a joke of company,. I should've left when Verizon bought them.

I kinda understand why TW wouldn't fulfill our orders. For $99 and no max # limited in a single purchase, a lot of people were just abusing this 'deal'. If you want to make a profit from reselling the phones, why wouldn't TW take that profit by themselves in the first place? TW is certainly a trashy company, so are some of the SDers here.

So I ordered 23 phones (don't judge! wanted to send them to Africa). 2k+ due on my credit card. What are my options?

you mean resell them to africa?

Can't blame a guy for trying to make a buck but 23 at once does seem excessive and even if TW didn't flag it I know my CC company probably would have.

I can imagine it won't be fun trying to explain to your CC company to dispute the charge and why you needed to order 23 phones at once lol.

He doesn't need to explain why he bought 23 or 2300 phones to the credit card company, but only prove that he was wrongfully ripped off in the transaction. I guess not many people here have actually disputed a credit card transaction.

Stop making excuses for TW. They're a dirtball company. They got exposed trying to pull a fast one. Time for chargebacks to commence.

Just buy a used X, XR, SE2, or 8. They all essentially provide the same Apple experience.

This is insane. Called TFW again. Paid with PayPal. First CSR told me that the money was not taken and my credit card was not charged. I told him I already see a posted charge on Paypal since July 14th. He said TFW did not charge so no refund. I demanded to talk to his supervisor.

After a lengthy hold, I got to his leader. This guy says that it doesn't matter what I see, but PayPal never send the money to TFW and there would NOT be a refund. He said TFW doesn't owe you any money since your order was canceled. He was also pretty rude on the phone and kept interrupting.

I already filed a claim with PayPal. However since the charge posted on July 14th and the cancellation email only came on July 20th, I apparently need to wait another 30 days from the cancellation email to see if the seller refunds.

By that time I will have to pay my credit card, used with PayPal unless I file a dispute with my credit card company. But they would obviously dispute with PayPal and I could lose my PayPal account, so I'm hesitant to take the route. I just might end up paying my Credit card and hope that PayPal refunds me later after the 30 plus day waiting period.

TFW is a bunch of jokers. These folks need to be reported. Never had such a weird experience buying stuff online. They charge without shipping. But then they cancel the order and refuse to give a refund. I mean seriously?

If there is no movement tomorrow. I am filing a dispute, Luckily I had not to dispute any charges on my Amex card yet but this would be the first. I am not paying interest on my card and Verizon to hold my money so they can gain from my order. I know it's only $155 but who are they to just hold my money on trickery like this? Only if the reps gave me straight answers on when I was going to get refunded, I would wait a little longer but they just straight out hung up on me twice now. And their chat is useless saying someone will be calling me and when I answered they put me on hold for another 15 minutes just to get routed to another rep and wait again for 20 minutes just so they can hang up on me again.
Verizon got me again after they tried for me to pay to leave my service I vowed not to deal with this SCAM company again but here I go fooled by them again.
