Been in the market for a PEV for awhile now, for commenting, and getting around the super busy beach town I work and live in. Wanted to go with a OneWheel, but the price, safety and current issues of the GT just gave me too much pause. Hoping the Segway resale value will be good if I decide to get something else down the line.

DOA units, boards ghosting and ghost riding away, faulty footpads, boards with full shutdowns while riding, board bricks if you disconnect the battery. Way too many problems for $2,200++. Seems like a lot of boards are fine, but a bit of a nightmare if you are unlucky.

Don't forget now the tire is proprietary. They made it almost impossible to do any diy maintenance on the new model.

Not a bad deal. Same specs as the G30LP which is considered a good deal at $600. I'd still get the Niu KQi3 Pro over the F40 for the same price.
