Everytime I get a new knife i lose it in like 2 weeks. anyone else ?
LOL ordering this for my brother-in-law who helped with our plumbing recently... we got out from under the house and he said "I lost my knife under there" and I was like, well it's time for a new one in my head - so he gets a new one!

It will be interesting to see how he reacts to the strap (seatbelt but we all use it for zip ties lol cutter) and glass breaker, he had a basic knife and not everyone realizes knives have all that extra stuff now. We shall see Smilie

Blade length on Amazon says 3.1 inches and on SW says 3.49
Amazon says 3.49 inches in one part of the description and 3.1 inches in another part. It's the same model number so I assume 3.49 is the accurate number.

Good reviews on Amazon. They are selling it for $14.19 so don't be fooled by the $31.99 list price.

Same here. I had extremely low expectations commensurate to the $7 price tag. I was actually blown away by the quality, but the sale was over when I tried to grab a couple more to give to family. Won't get fooled again.

either way, blade is over 3" which would make it illegal to carry in my state of Colorado....pass

Never. I still have every one of them, including an "Old Timer" that I got over 20 years ago when I was 17. My favorite "gas station" quality knife is my dual blade batman knife.
With this one being over 3 inches in length, I don't think I could carry it with me. It may have to stay in the garage.
Got my old timer back then too. Don't know if you realize but , if the years you bought are the same, they actually guaranteed those knives against loss !
Still have mine too !

I carry a similar SW knife every shift at work. Cut rope, cut fishing line, trim kids plastic models, opened a billion Amazon boxes. Still sharp and tight. The assisted open is awesome. I'd get a couple more if I needed them.

The quality is perfectly adequate. It's far better than any flea market or gas station knife I've ever picked up and put down. It's not a boutique brand knife but it won't hurt your feelings if it falls out of the boat or your buddy breaks the tip using it as a screw driver.

To the knife-snobs crapping in the post. You guys are silly. This isn't a combat weapon. Those are fixed blades and quality needs to be top tier for that purpose. This is just a pocket tool and it's hilarious that there are knife nerds that take themselves so seriously.

What is this job where you're working with rope climbing mountains or working on a boat, cutting fishing line that requires a serrated blade, presumably for marlin or shark, your coworkers don't have access to complex tools like screwdrivers, AND working with children's toys?

Are you hiring?
