Still waiting for 32GB variant of 2022 LG Grams... 16GB soldered isn't sufficient for my workload, but just about everything else about the Gram is what I'm looking for in a laptop.

Yup. But the ir camera works. Personally I would take fingerprint over ir camera.

Is the 2 in 1 form factor good? I feel it is a gimmick which will be rarely used.

It's useful, you can do tent mode for movies while you eat and if you like design drawing that's an added bonus.

It's good when you're at home outputting to an external monitor and have the laptop monitor and external keyboard in front of you. With the flip you won't have 2 keyboards in front of you.

The flip won't really be used for movies alone IMO

Not true. You can upgrade the SSD. Manufacturer cannot prevent you with the threat of voided warranty. There is a customer protection law against that

I have the 11th gen, 17 inch maxed out version of the Gram. BEST LAPTOP EVER. Excellent screen and great battery life. I don't game and this laptop does everything I throw at it.

I went to Costco to see this laptop in person. Something to be noted is that it's 300 nits. Great indoor but if you plan to use it more outdoor I would personally wait.
