Tax is showing up as $12. Should be $85*.06=$5.10. Any ideas why?

Thank you for holding. In reviewing the order I was able to find the reason for the extra expense. You were charged a $6.00 911 Wireless fee included in the state tax amount.

you have to activate the phone, that starts the clock on 60 days unlock....

I can tell you that I have the prior release, the Moto G Stylus from 2020. It works fine on US Mobile which is on Verizon network. If for some reason you cannot see the APN settings to adjust as needed, you load the Nova 7 launcher to your phone and they will be visible. Probably you will not need this.

Thanks. I purchased the Motorola XT2115-1 Moto G Stylus Black from woot for $179 yesterday and just thinking of canceling it and getting this instead. I just can't locate a model # on qvc site.

Verizon now owns Tracfone. I would assume that if you live in an area where Verizon has good service that they would use Verizon as the default for your sim.

For Customers with non-Apple devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior to November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than twelve (12) months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than twelve (12) months.
If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least sixty (60) days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
The device must be in working condition.
The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are no indicators of fraud.

I think that yours is the 2021 model and based on the picture on the QVC site, that is also the 2021 model.

Often tax is calculated on "original price" even though you pay a "sale price". (The state doesn't want you beating them out of their pound of flesh just because you got a deal. Smilie)
