After upgrading to the 7 plus from my old headset my teammates immediately said they could hear everything in my room and could even hear my ceiling fan blowing on the mic. Where my old headset they had no idea that I had a ceiling fan on for the past 2 years and immediately mentioned it over and over the very first night. I live in a noisy household so they immediately noticed. Glad to hear it's not an issue for everyone.
My household is also noisy. So I had to return because of this. FWIW the nicer version called the Nova Pros did the same thing.
Ive found that to be the exact opposite. And they actually had the original 7s used at one of the gaming conferences by reporters on site to show the lack of background noise pickup. It seems to do an excellent job of blocking out noise for people I play with. What headset have you used or are using that does it better out of curiosity?

The only one that does an excellent job is the Astro A40s either with or without the mod kit microphone. Seriously it's an awesome headset.
