Probably worth it for the price just for the unifying receiver

You can pair a bunch of Logitech devices to the same USB receiver.

I have used the M525 mouse before and they are OK. I have one of these in my computer bag as a backup.

I've had this model for years. Really great for the price. Comfortable, durable, responsive, etc. Especially for the price.

I only wish it was Bluetooth for wider compatibility.

As always with Office Depot, if you have Rewards this is a good time to use them. Because most products at OD are overpriced.

I don't have an opinion of this mouse specifically, but I have used laptops exclusively over the past 10 years. For the first 8 I used the trackpad and hated everyone even if it was highly rated. A couple of years ago on one laptop, the trackpad stopped working, so I got a cheap wireless mouse. Ever since then, I never looked back and use a wireless mouse with every laptop. A wireless mouse is so much more comfortable to use.

I've become accustomed to extra buttons, mainly back/forward buttons on a mouse. I have a mouse without it, and I'm always trying to click it. So this is a no go..

I'd scoop this if there was free shipping, but shipping is the same price as the mouse.

No, no products are overpriced because you can simply price match a non sale item to another major merchant who has a better price. Best Buy, Target, AMZ, etc. People just have to learn the art/ins and outs of maximizing their rewards versus making blanket statements with a very simple fix.
