I consider myself pretty tech-savvy, but installing the 3-way dimmer legit took years off my life. Didn't help that the original unit I got was broken to begin with. The single pole dimmers are a cake walk in comparison

You only need 1 3 way dimmer switch per 1 "room" correct?
Does the "satellite" switch has to be in the same "room" wiring or can you use the satellite switch for another room?
How does the wifi work with the satellite switch? Same name as the main or different name?

NVM: you have to install both per 1 room.
YMMV, but for my house, I have one 3-way switch installed in a 4-way setup with a dimmer (3 physical wall switches control the same set of lights) and the second from the same 2-pack box is controlling a 3-way switch setup (2 physical wall switches controlling the same set of lights). For my 4-way setup, I opted to replace the non-dimmer switch and thus the dimmer switch can still control the brightness level manually while I can ask Google/Echo to turn on/off the lights and automate it for when the wife falls asleep without turning them off.....
In both of these cases, I only replaced one switch in the series and the other switches still work like usual for on/off needs thanks to the traveler wire, if I'm not mistaken.
