Beyond the obvious like serving sizes, some difference to see which direction is worth it for you, mainly to focus on stainless vs. aluminum:

1. Stainless can work on induction plates and burners, while aluminum can't.
2. Aluminum's rate of temperature change is quicker (cooling down and heating up) vs. stainless. Holding a constant and consistent temperature is an important variable for coffee brewing.
3. Aluminum absorbs coffee oils more than stainless. Can probably affect brewing flavor from when you first get your aluminum pot vs. years down the road of usage due to staining the parts from the coffee oils over time.
4. Stainless is a lot easier to clean vs. aluminum.

I stay with good friends in Milan/Como/Sicily/Sardinia often and they turned me on to espresso and the Bialetti. They specifically said.....stay away from the aluminum pots. Stainless steel only for the best outcome.

That is a pretty big moka pot unless you have five other people to help you drink it with each brew. Moka pots are all or nothing. Each cup is about two oz, so you will have twelve oz of basically Cuban expresso. Trying to make less than six cups doesn't turn out well. When I bought mine, I just bought a one cup version. A buddy of mine who is of Cuban descent explained this to me. He drinks Cafe' con leche' daily, so is up on this. Glad I listened.

If you click on the Amazon one in your pic, it's not the same product you posted. 3rd party seller on Target.

Check CCC on the product you posted for price history

I'm sorry - CCC? Where do you see these for $34 I'm genuinely curious. Thanks.
Can't link it because SD blocks it. Just look up CCC amazon price check and put the product's url that you posted in the search and it will give you a price history on amazon.

FYI this is model is made in china not Italy like their classic aluminum Moka pots. No reason to pay the Bialetti premium here IMO. Buy one of the clones for $5 less. They probably came out of the same factory

Yea, tough crowd in here. I thought this was a good price for a branded SS moka pot from the Bialetti store for crying out loud.. Got people coming here to tell me what a POS it is.

8 bucks of regular price, so 20% off. I think it's a great deal, picked one up. Prefer stainless over aluminum even though the aluminium one is made in Italy.

I bought one in December for $30 so I thumbs upped this. The only thing I am unsure about with this is that I generally put in about 270ml of water but rarely get more than 200ml of coffee out, the rest of the water stays in the bottom chamber and I'm not sure keeping the pot on the fire to extract that last 50ml will be worthwhile or if i'd just end up with overly burnt/extracted/etc coffee. Not a huge problem but still annoying.

Generally means the coffee grind is too fine.

Thank you for sharing this deal. Different strokes for different folks.

Just came back from Italy and paid 45 euros for 6 cup aluminum Bialetti. If this is Made in China, I'll still take it since this is stainless steel and better deal. If the quality is bad, oh well, I paid $26, not $45. Purchased 1 for gift and 1 to keep for myself.

I have no self control with expresso. I'd drink all 6 cups. Sweat profusely. Maybe dig a moat. Go to bed at 4:25am.
