I don't think Iris Xe is considered as discrete graphics.

Is the ram upgradable? Also is there an m2 slot in addition to the ssd already in there?

Just picked up the LG Gram 16 2in1 from Costco at $1099 today. This seems compelling for a much lower cost, especially for the $663 Open Box Excellent near me. I know the hardware is on a different class level between the two. Is this a machine that would be capable for the next 4 years? Mostly just browsing and office suite.

Some more info not stated on the product page:

- 400 nit screen
- 100% sRGB
- 51w battery

Surprised that this laptop doesn't use soldered LPDDR RAM so speed is capped to 3200mhz.

Finally this is a U processor which is meant for portability and is slower than P and H variants. 51w battery which is on the smaller side. Battery life should be decent at least.

3.62 lbs isnt heavy but I was hoping it to be in the high 2 lb range given the smaller battery and U processor.

I have one of the old versions of the laptop and my only complaint is it gets heavy holding it like a tablet. Wish it was a little lighter.

Good specs... I bought one from HP in Dec. 2018 with 128 SSD and secondary 1TB HDD for $787... on this one they did away with the full island keyboard to make room for the side speakers...

If only the battery was bigger I would consider it. My main usage is as a tablet/laptop without power attached to it and my LG Gram 16" (from the same Costco deal) lasts a long time. This has almost half the battery capacity.I am quite worried about that. Otherwise, I would consider it (wish the display was 16:10)

It works great... but I had to replace the battery which got swollen after about 2 years... I fixed the typo in my post... I bought mine in 2018...

The Costco one has12GB RAM and a Ryzen processor... this one has an i7 so it's faster...

Nice machine but way too expensive for the specs and you pay a big weight penalty having a convertible form factor.

i7-1255U cpu only has two P-cores, what a joke.
