Once you unlock this hotspot from ebay codes (Thx nimpravi):
connect to device's wifi, go to HTTP://mobile.hotspot and then from that dashboard:
network settings -> APN -> Add a new APN suitable for your network (you can get APN settings from Google). Once you save the APN settings, make it default APN. Now, the service will disconnect and you need to click on 'Home" in the dashboard and there will be option to "Connect" and click on that.

I couldn't get any virtual card to work (rebates, prepaid), and was certainly not going to use Paypal or a CC since I don't trust these bastards.

I don't have any problem with it.
I would not pay more than this deal price for it.
I initially was going to use PayPal but I didn't want any surprises from Boost and I remembered that I had a prepaid debit card so I used that.
