Cheaper at Dronenerds although it has been going in and out of stock. Been $669 for a few weeks. In stock as I type this.

Personally, I think this is a great deal for a solid drone. Unless you shoot in low light, it will do as well as the 2s but with a bit longer battery life. The Mini 3 Pro is a different animal with much longer battery life if you get the bigger battery but much higher price. I went mini 3 pro since i value photography first and I care about the bigger sensor with the claimed 47 minute flight time (real life ~35-38 minutes.)

What do you mean 100% owned by the Chinese? DJI is not owned by the Chinese government.

For that matter just about everything thing we buy is assembled and built in China. Where do you think your Iphone was built?

I don't understand. Isn't virtually all tech produced in China Taiwan or Japan? And i don't believe DJI is owned by "china." i think its actually privately owned.. but could be mistaken.

ok let's try to clear this up since obviously the poster is using the terms loosely and causing some confusion. this is my opinion so it's not fact: all major chinese companies (including dji) have certain responsibilities to the chinese government (aka ccp). almost all of these companies are receiving $$$ from their government so it's not as much about ownership as it is about control. do i believe dji is sharing your details with the ccp, probably not....but i believe the ccp has access to anything that dji has....and that would be most of your data.

thats a good price but for $30 more you get an extra year of warranty, take your pick.

While it appears that the Mini 3 may edge out the 2 with a larger sensor and newer technology. . The Air 2 is $250 less.

nothing is privately owned in china. the govt has control over all data collected by "private" companies.

dji app has your face, your families faces, your phone data, your GPS data, what your house looks like and the inside of your house all in one place in 4k!!!!!

At any moment, the china government can request any person, or group, or all data as they please from DJI for any reason. This is how businesses operate in china. I hope this isn't new to you all.....

DJI has little to no ties to the USA and we know how much china likes to follow US rules and regulations. Especially about privacy... what privacy???

yeah, this is a tough one. Wanted the 2s, but 699 (+tax) on ebay includes 2 year allstate warranty.
Drone nerds = no tax and 5% off....what to do??? it's about $100 swing for 2 year allstate thru ebay vs dronenerds

Skeptical on refurbished stuff now. I just wasted time on an Amazon renewed that I bought on sale last week. Had to send back. Dead out of box.

I've never heard anything but positive reviews for these dji-refurbed fly more packages over the past year or more.
