Sega needs to stop outsourcing. It's a great game for $2.50 though, mostly because it's a remake of a Sega Saturn game that could be finished in well under three hours... like most of Sega's 3D games at the time.

The best part of the game was setting classic soundtrack in the options and letting it sit at the title screen.

Some of the best game music ever composed.

I remember trying to get a hold of one when it was released. Was impossible to find even back then. You'd need a working Saturn and $1500 to play it now.

Would love if we at least got Panzer II- but guessing this remake failed to generate enough return to justify even making II.

The 2nd game was announced at the same time as the first - and confirmations of a 2021 release well after the first came out. Obviously, we missed that window, but no reason to indicate the game was canceled or the first didn't sell well enough.

In fact, it has been reported the game quickly made 2x its development cost.

For 2.50, I couldn't resist. It seems to play generally fine on the steam deck, but the cutscenes seem to be screwed up, I'm not sure why.

But that's playable on modern day hardware and is X enhanced for 4K/60fps. How much more do you want? laugh out loudWhen remaking old games, there's always a high chance of screwing up, as the case with this remake. It's still decent but it's not the original with beef up graphics and frame rate.
