Would never buy at that suggested retail/ full price. But still one of the best sounding Bluetooth speakers for $100 I have ever seen/heard. the v3 was a bit better but its still a great speaker.

I agree. Very good sounding speaker and volume level especially for it's size. Bought mine years ago for $100 and it's worth it.

I got these a year ago for the same price. Agree the suggested retail price is ridicules but they are really good portable speakers. It's got good volume and bass. You can also pair them as well if you get two of these. I would say they're just below the Sonos Move and the battery is comparable.

Yeah, the Onyx is really impressive. A very solid upgrade from the Charge series if ya don't mind the size and shape.

Yes you can pair 2 or more of these together. It's pretty impressive with 2 of them out on the lake side dock. This is a great sounding speaker. Sound quality and bass are astounding for a portable. It's not super loud on battery, but really thumps when plugged in.
I own 2 and will pick up another at this price.

In terms of sound quality, definitely the HK. I have had my onyx for years and the sound quality is amazing. Nothing else can touch it at this price. The few places it comes up short is battery life and ruggedness. Although it is portable, you will want to keep this speaker indoors just because of the fit and finish. I have abused mine quite a bit and it's fine, but it isn't really designed for the outdoors.

I bought one of these for my wife's studio/salon and it's been great. Nice looking addition and great sound quality. Would definitely recommend over my UE Boom I've had for 6-7 years now.
